Job summary

Premise Health Inc. is seeking a Full Time Nurse Practitioner to provide care to employees and dependents at our Tucson Health Center. The role offers 32–40 hours per week with a strong emphasis on primary and urgent care, and DEA regulatory compliance.

The successful candidate will conduct exams, develop care plans, educate patients, and collaborate with physicians to ensure continuity of care. A minimum of 3 years in ambulatory care and current national certification is expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN and NP licensure to practice.
• DEA license to prescribe controlled substances where applicable.
• National certification through ANCC or AANP is required.
• Master’s degree in Nursing is required; transcripts may be requested.
• Hands-on BLS/ACLS training as applicable by contract scope.
• Minimum 3 years of ambulatory care or family practice experience.

Responsibilities

• Conducts physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines.
• Performs injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management.
• Develops patient care plans and records progress for continuity of care.
• Educates patients on treatment plans and health maintenance.
• Orders and interprets diagnostic tests to assess clinical conditions.
• Collaborates with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care.
• Prescribes or recommends treatments, including medications and therapies.
• Refers patients to specialists or physicians as needed.
• Maintains accurate health records and documentation.
• Educates and coaches nursing staff on best practices.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
