Job summary

The Royal C. Johnson VA Health Care System in Sioux Falls, SD seeks a Nurse Practitioner to join our Primary Care Service Line. Provide comprehensive primary care to Veterans in a team-based setting and manage acute and chronic conditions.

Mon-Fri, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with a competitive pay range of $100K-$130K and full federal benefits. Requires a minimum of 2 years of NP experience; opportunities include in-person, virtual, and phone visits, with collaboration across specialties.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Nurse Practitioner experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary care to Veterans in a team-based setting.
• Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostics, prescribe medications, and create treatment plans.
• Deliver care through in-person, virtual, and phone visits.
• Collaborate with specialists, mental health, and community services.
