Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide quality and safe care in a post-acute SNF setting. Location: MPC West Shores, 24110 West Dodge Rd, Waterloo, NE. Schedule: M-F 8a-5p with rotating on-call nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include performing and coordinating primary care, administering meds with physician oversight, and developing treatment plans. Requires MSN/DNP, NP license, and annual mandatory education.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) required.
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, valid state license and certification as Nurse Practitioner.
• Satisfactory completion of annual mandatory education requirements.

Responsibilities

• Perform primary health care for patients by assessing and diagnosing health status.
• Take patient history and perform physical exams to determine mental status.
