Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System in Waterloo, NE is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to provide post-acute care at MPC West Shores. This full-time role offers Mon-Fri 8a-5p with rotating on-call nights, weekends and holidays.

The NP will perform assessments, diagnose conditions, develop treatment plans, prescribe medications with physician oversight when applicable, and collaborate with physicians and care teams.

Qualifications

• Two years of clinical NP experience required.
• MSN or DNP; NP license and certification required.
• BLS required within 3 months; ACLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary health care through assessment and diagnosis.
• Collect patient history; perform physical exams and evaluate status.
• Develop and implement treatment plans and follow-up for outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians and health-care teams; communicate regularly.
