Job summary

Beacon Health System seeks a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our mission-driven primary care team. You will collaborate with physicians to deliver comprehensive care, perform physical exams, obtain histories, and guide diagnostic and treatment plans.

The role emphasizes mentorship, professional development, and patient-centered care. The position involves coordinating care across services, educating patients, and supporting follow-up and triage to ensure seamless care delivery

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner program.
• Current, valid state licensure and appropriate certification (NCCPA or ANCC/AANP).
• BLS certification within 30 days of hire; ACLS may be required.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary care in collaboration with the Practice Site Physician.
• Obtain medical history and physical data; interpret data to guide procedures.
• Order labs and diagnostics; educate patients on health prevention.
• Coordinate patient access and care through triage and follow-up.
