Job summary

Mass General Brigham Medical Group Northern Massachusetts, Inc. is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to support our float pool across North Shore primary care practices.

The role requires commitment to at least 24 patient-facing days per calendar year, with assignments scheduled based on needs across Beverly, Danvers, Lynn, Marblehead, Peabody and surrounding locales. The NP/PA will also manage follow-up on patient results and in-basket messages for up to two

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Nursing required.
• APRN-NP state license required.
• 2 years of licensed nurse practitioner experience; 1-2 years required.
• Prior NP/PA in Primary Care setting is required.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct care, counseling, and education to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and/or procedural settings.
• Orders, interprets, and evaluates laboratory and diagnostic tests.
• Orders medications and writes prescriptions according to organizational policies.
• Maintains high-quality and timely documentation, including admission and progress notes.
