Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a per diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support North Shore primary care practices, committing to at least 24 patient-facing days per calendar year. The NP/PA will manage follow-up on patient results and in-basket messages after shifts to ensure continuity of care.

This role requires licensure as an APRN (NP) or PA with experience in a primary care setting; duties include direct patient care, order entry, and care coordination across multiple sites

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required
• APRN license valid in state
• 2 years of licensed NP experience; 1-2 years required
• Experience in primary care preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory and inpatient settings.
• Perform complete histories and physical examinations; assess and plan care.
• Order tests, interpret results, and manage follow-up for patients.
• Prescribe medications according to organizational policies.
• Maintain high-quality documentation and timely notes and communications.
