Job summary

Brown University Health in Providence, RI is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Primary Care team. You will provide high-quality nursing and medical services, support health promotion and disease prevention, and help manage acute and chronic conditions.

The role emphasizes collaboration with an interdisciplinary team, patient education, and compassionate care. Work hours are M-F 8:00am-4:30pm with day shift.

Qualifications

• Rhode Island RN licensure or Nurse Licensure Compact compliance.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with current Rhode Island Advanced Practitioner license.
• Current National Board Certification.
• Minimum 2 years of primary care experience in family medicine/outpatient preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate sick, urgent care, transitional care and primary care patients.
• Perform annual physical exams as needed.
• Educate patients on maintaining proper health.
• Evaluate, make recommendations, co-manage and treat patients' medical needs.
• Participate in an interdisciplinary team providing care and coordination of our patients.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Licensure as Registered Nurse in the State of Rhode Island by the Rhode Island Board of Nursingorlicensure as a Registered Nurse in accordance with the Nurse Licensure Compact agreement of the National Council of State Boards of Nursing.Education and ExperienceGraduate of an accredited school of nursing with a current Rhode Island Advanced Practitioner license in good standingCurrent National Board CertificationA minimum of 2 years of primary care experience in either a family medicine or primary care outpatient practice is preferred

Pay Range

$127,504.00-$161,782.40
