Brown University Health in East Providence, RI, is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a primary care team. The role involves patient assessment, plan/implementation of care, and collaboration with providers in a busy clinical setting.
Responsibilities include ordering labs and imaging, performing minor procedures, and maintaining accurate records for patient care and billing, while mentoring staff and promoting high-quality service.
Reports to the Medical Director and the Director of Operations; will provide compassionate and excellent patient care by performing courteous, efficient, and accurate service. Assists with all aspects of patient care, including diagnosis, treatments, and consultations. Mentors clinical personnel, and serves as a liaison with patients, staff, providers, and leadership. Can perform independently and as part of a treatment team.
