Job summary

Premise Health in Tucson, AZ is seeking a licensed Nurse Practitioner to join our on-site health center. This full-time role requires primary or urgent care experience, DEA registration, and a commitment to comprehensive patient care for employees and dependents.

You will conduct examinations, develop care plans, prescribe treatments, and coordinate with physicians and staff to ensure high-quality health services.

Qualifications

• RN license to practice in the state
• NP license to practice in the state
• State Prescriptive Authority (if applicable)
• Federal DEA license
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required in your state
• Current national certification (ANCC or AANP)
• Master’s Degree in Science of Nursing
• BLS/ACLS certification as required

Responsibilities

• Conduct physical exams and preventive health measures per guidelines
• Perform procedures such as injections, suturing, wound care, and infection management
• Develop patient care plans and record progress
• Educate patients on treatment plans and health maintenance
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests to assess conditions
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams for comprehensive care
• Prescribe or recommend treatments including medications and therapies
• Refer patients to specialists as needed
• Maintain patient health records and ensure documentation is up to date
• Educate and coach nursing staff on best practices
• Perform other duties as assigned
