Job summary

Tucson Medical Center is recruiting a Family Practice Nurse Practitioner to join our TMCOne Urgent Care team in Tucson, AZ. This full-time role uses Epic EMR integrated with the hospital system, supported by a large group with multiple Tucson offices and a strong patient-satisfaction focus.

Urgent Care NP provides primary or specialty care to new and established patients with licensure to practice in Arizona, including prescriptive authority and BLS; two+ years' experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing required.
• Nurse Practitioner certification required.
• Two (2) or more years of NP experience in urgent care or primary care.
• Arizona NP licensure with prescriptive authority and DEA license.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION

Master's degree in Nursing. Nurse Practitioner.

EXPERIENCE

Two (2) or more recent years of related experience as a Nurse Practitioner in an urgent care or primary care setting.

LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION

National certification as a Nurse Practitioner or must be National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner eligible. Must become credentialed at TMC through the Professional Staffing Office prior to appointment. Must have and maintain a current Arizona state license as a Registered Nurse and Nurse Practitioner including prescriptive authority. Must obtain and maintain a current Federal Drug Enforcement Agency License for prescribing controlled substances. Must obtain and maintain current certification in Basic Life Support.
