Job summary

Bridlewood Family Healthcare in Flower Mound, TX is seeking a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our urgent care team on a full-time basis. The role focuses on patient-centered care in a fast-paced urgent care setting, including minor procedures, wound care, x-ray review under radiologist over-read, and dermatology and GYN care for patients aged 5 and up.

You will perform evaluations, manage emergencies, interpret point-of-care tests, and may work extra shifts for additional pay.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in family practice, urgent care, or ER settings.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Desire to provide quality urgent care to the community.
• Current BLS/ACLS certification.
• eClinicalWorks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• General evaluation and management.
• Interpretation of point of care testing (Covid-19, flu, strep, mono, etc.).
• Minor surgery (incision and drainage) and suturing.
• Splinting and general orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Review of x-rays with radiologist over-read.
• General dermatology and eye problem care.
• General EKG interpretations and emergency management.
• General GYN care.
• Treating children 5 years and older.

777 Urgent Care is a thriving urgent care practice in Flower Mound, Tx and we're looking to hire Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) to join our team full time. You will provide patient focused care to help our patients feel better FAST! Services provided to the public on an urgent care basis. The ideal applicant will be able to excel working in an urgent care environment.

Responsibilities:

• General evaluation and management
• Interpretation of point of care testing (Covid-19 testing, influenza, strep, mono, general chemistry, etc)
• Minor surgery (incision and drainage, foreign object removal, etc.)
• Suturing
• Splinting
• General Orthopedic evaluations/management
• Review of x-rays (to be over-read by Radiologist, too)
• General Dermatology
• General eye problems
• General EKG interpretations
• Emergency management skills
• General GYN expertise
• Treating children 5 and older

Schedule:

• Three 12 hour shifts per week
• Must be able to work alternating weekends
• Extra shifts may be available at additional compensation

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year in family practice setting, urgent care setting, or ER setting.
