Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant with a focus on pediatric care.
• Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines (OSHA, CLIA).
• Proficiency in laceration repair and initial fracture management.
• Experience in reduction of nursemaid’s elbow.
• Knowledge of OSHA/CLIA regulations; valid Texas RN license.
• Active national certs: PNP-BC, FNP-BC or NCCPA.

Requirements

• Urgent Care Experience: Preferred, with a strong background in fast‑paced clinical settings
• Pediatric Assessment & Treatment: At least 2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner (PNP or FNP) or Physician Assistant, with a focus on pediatric care
• Urgent Care Procedures: Proficiency in laceration repair, initial fracture management, and reduction of nursemaid’s elbow
• Licensing & Regulatory Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines (OSHA, CLIA) and maintaining a valid, unencumbered Texas RN license
• Certification: Active certification by national certifying bodies recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing (PNP‑BC, FNP‑BC) or NCCPA
• PALS Certification: Current certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
