The clinician will perform patient assessments, diagnose and treat acute illnesses, and coordinate with the care team.

The ideal candidate will hold an active Texas license with Urgent Care or hospital-based experience preferred and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, histories, and physical exams.

• Coordinate with physicians and nurses to develop treatment plans and follow-up care.
• Interpret laboratory tests and imaging results to guide care.

Growing urgent care and multispecialty group in Dallas, Texas is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join their team!

The PA or NP will provide comprehensive urgent care services, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of acute illnesses and injuries. Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality, efficient care in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will possess strong clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to patient-centered care. Candidates with prior urgent care experience are highly preferred.

Description:

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
• Three 12-hour shifts per week (3 12s)
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including taking detailed histories and performing physical examinations
• Diagnose and manage acute illnesses and injuries across diverse patient populations
• Prescribe medications and administer injections
• Perform procedures such as suturing, wound care, and basic airway management
• Coordinate with healthcare professionals to develop treatment plans, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
• Conduct diagnostic evaluations including interpretation of laboratory tests and imaging results

Requirements:

• Physician Assistant (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) with active Texas license
• Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital-based settings highly preferred
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
