Description

Position Summary:

Eventus WholeHealth delivers an integrated model of care to adults residing in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities through a network of healthcare providers including Physicians, Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Medical Assistants, and in-house Support Staff.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide primary-care services following site-specific protocols and standards of care for family medicine, geriatric medicine, and/or internal medicine in long-term care settings.

Quality/Compliance:

• Review and sign MARs, sign all orders related to Primary Care within 24 hours, including phone orders, DME, Death Certificates, Plans of Care, PT/OT, hospice orders, and other relevant orders.
• Review labs within 24 hours of receipt. Manage narcotic prescriptions as per policy. Allocate time for administrative paperwork during visits.
• Complete documentation and submit billing records per policies, providing a hard copy within 48 hours.
• Maintain positive communication with facility staff and administration. Provide instructions regarding medications and care.
• Adhere to Eventus WholeHealth standards, policies, legal, and regulatory guidelines, including HIPAA compliance.
• Consult with the clinical supervisor before refusing resident care requests.

Qualifications/Education:

• Masters in Nursing with a valid state license or
• Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program, passing the national certification, and licensed as a Physician Assistant.

Specialization in geriatrics, family, or psychiatry is preferred.
