Job summary

Blanchard Nephrology LLC in Findlay, Ohio is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APRN-CNP or PA-C) to join our growing nephrology team. This is a full-time/contract role offering a compensation range of $110,000–$140,000 annually plus bonus, along with nephrology training and mentorship.

The successful candidate will work closely with nephrologists and other AP providers in evaluation and management of kidney disease, CKD, hypertension, AKI, dialysis, and hospital consults, with opportunities

Qualifications

  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program with required licensure.
  • For PA candidates: Master's degree from an accredited PA program and NCCPA certification.
  • Maintain appropriate Ohio prescriptive authority and BLS/ACLS as required.

Responsibilities

  • Outpatient nephrology clinic responsibilities and CKD management.
  • Hypertension management and acute kidney injury evaluation/follow-up.
  • Dialysis patient management and hospital nephrology consultations.
  • Coordinate care with PCPs and other specialists; telehealth nephrology services.
  • Participate in rotating weekend and on-call coverage.

Blanchard Nephrology LLC is a physician-owned specialty practice providing comprehensive kidney care to patients throughout Northwest Ohio.

Our practice provides care across the full spectrum of kidney disease, including chronic kidney disease, hypertension, acute kidney injury, dialysis, and end-stage kidney disease. We believe excellent kidney care combines clinical expertise with patient education, compassion, accessibility, and continuity of care.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Nurse Practitioner (APRN-CNP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our growing clinical team.

Nephrology experience is preferred but not required. We are willing to provide comprehensive nephrology training to the right candidate.

The Opportunity

The successful candidate will work collaboratively with our nephrologist and other advanced practice providers in the evaluation and management of patients with kidney disease.

This is an excellent opportunity for an APP who wants to develop specialized expertise while working in a collaborative physician-led environment.

Depending on experience and practice needs, responsibilities may include:

  • Outpatient nephrology clinic
  • Chronic kidney disease management
  • Hypertension management
  • Acute kidney injury evaluation and follow-up
  • Dialysis patient management
  • Hospital nephrology consultations and follow-up
  • Coordination of care with primary care physicians and other specialists
  • Telehealth nephrology services
  • Participation in rotating weekend and on-call coverage

Our physician and experienced providers will provide training, clinical supervision, mentorship, and ongoing support as the successful candidate develops expertise in nephrology.

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
  • Hold and maintain appropriate certification/licensure through the Ohio Board of Nursing
  • Hold and maintain national NP certification through an approved certifying organization such as ANCC or AANP
  • Possess appropriate Ohio prescriptive authority before or upon employment
  • Maintain current BLS certification
  • Maintain ACLS certification as required for the position

Hospital or inpatient clinical experience is preferred.

Physician Assistant Qualifications

Candidates must:

  • Hold a Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program (MPAS, MHS, MMS, or equivalent)
  • Hold and maintain NCCPA certification
  • Hold or obtain appropriate Ohio licensure before beginning employment
  • Maintain appropriate prescriptive authority
  • Maintain BLS and ACLS certification as required for the position

Hospital or inpatient clinical experience is strongly preferred.

Nephrology Experience

Previous nephrology experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Candidates with backgrounds in Internal Medicine, Hospital Medicine, Critical Care, Primary Care, Cardiology, Dialysis, or other related specialties are encouraged to apply.

Compensation

$120,000–$140,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.

This is primarily an in-person clinical position. Candidates must be able to relocate to or reliably commute to the Findlay, Ohio area before beginning employment.
