Bluegrass Kidney Consultants in Louisville, KY is hiring a Nurse Practitioner to join our nephrology practice. The NP will manage chronic conditions in outpatient clinics, support outpatient dialysis units, and assist inpatient care for acute issues.

Required are an NP with a master’s or doctoral degree, KY/IN RN licenses and NP registry, and BLS/ACLS certification. Prior nephrology is preferred; you will work full-time Monday–Friday with one weekend every four weeks.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral level as a Nurse Practitioner.
• KY and IN RN license andNP registry
• Nephrology experience preferred but not required
• Critical Care/ICU experience as RN required
• Full-time Monday–Friday with one weekend every 4 weeks
• Eligible to apply for hospital medical staff privileges
• BLS and ACLS certification required

Key Responsibilities:

The Nurse Practitioner will primarily work, outpatient clinics managing chronic medical conditions, outpatient dialysis units, as well as providing care in inpatient, managing acute medical conditions

Basic Qualifications:

• Prepared at the master's or doctoral level as a Nurse Practitioner (NP).
• Valid license as a Registered nurse in KY and IN and be registered as a Nurse Practitioner on the KY and IN Advanced Practice Registry/National Certification
• Nephrology experience is preferred but not required
• Critical Care/ICU experience required as RN
• Full time position Monday-Friday (1 weekend every 4 weeks)
• Must be eligible to apply for medical staff privileges at area hospitals
• BLS and ACLS certified
