Job summary

NeighborHealth in Boston's Cradock Building is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Family Medicine team. You will diagnose and manage acute and chronic illnesses, emphasize health promotion, and collaborate with NP/PA/MD colleagues to deliver high-quality care.

This full-time, on-site role at 20 Maverick Square supports our mission to serve the greater Boston area with accessible primary care.

Qualifications

• Essential duties include obtaining comprehensive and problem-focused health history.
• Perform comprehensive and problem-focused physical examinations.
• Order and interpret screening and diagnostic tests.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and diagnostic reasoning in clinical decisions.
• Communicate with patients regarding clinical findings.
• Initiate appropriate and timely consultations (NP, PA & MD).

Position Summary:

The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is a licensed independent practitioner who provides medical services to individuals, families and groups. An APP diagnoses and manages acute episodic and chronic illnesses while emphasizing health promotion and disease prevention. Services may include ordering, conducting, supervising and interpreting diagnostic and laboratory tests, and prescription of pharmacologic agents and non pharmacologic therapies.
