Job summary
Native American Health Center in Oakland, CA seeks a Nurse Practitioner focused on perinatal and women's health to provide comprehensive primary care, preventive services, reproductive health, pregnancy and menopause care.
This full-time role collaborates with RNs, MAs, and physicians, delivers contraception counseling, IUD/Nexplanon, population health initiatives, and ensures timely documentation and quality improvement.
Qualifications
- Licensed FNP in California.
- Board certification in WFNP, Family Practice, Women's Health or other full-scope primary care.
- Current DEA license and NPI.
- Experience in a community clinic preferred.
- CPR certification current within 90 days of start.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive primary care with emphasis on women's health.
- Perform preventive screenings and gynecologic procedures including Pap smears.
- Manage acute and chronic conditions with gender-specific presentations.
- Deliver reproductive health services including contraception counseling and gender-affirming care.
- Lead daily huddles and collaborate with RNs, care coordinators, and specialists.
