Richmond Community Services in Peekskill, NY invites a Nurse Practitioner to join our per diem program. Conduct clinical assessments, provide treatment recommendations, and collaborate with our healthcare team to support the health and wellbeing of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

We seek NY State NP certification, NY RN license, prescriptive authority, and strong clinical judgement.

Formación

• Must hold NY State Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Nurse license in New York is required.
• Prescriptive authority, as applicable to the position.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• Compassionate, person-centered approach to care.
• Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct clinical assessments and evaluate health concerns for individuals in residential and community settings.
• Provide treatment recommendations, follow-up care, and health management within your scope of practice.
• Collaborate with nursing staff, physicians, and other care team members to promote continuity of care.
• Review medical concerns and identify appropriate interventions to support health, safety, and well-being.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.

What We're Looking For

• Current New York State Nurse Practitioner certification and licensure.
• Current, unrestricted Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license in New York State.
• Prescriptive authority, as applicable to the position.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and decision-making skills.
• A compassionate, person-centered approach to care.
• The ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities is a plus!
