Job summary

Compassus is seeking a Nurse Practitioner - PPV to model our values and provide palliative and hospice care across locations. You will perform assessments, manage symptoms, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the Medical Director and IDT to ensure high-quality care.

Flex scheduling is required to meet agency needs. Active NP license in Georgia, board certification in Hospice/Palliative Care is preferred, and you will participate in ongoing training and development within a

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Nursing required.
• Active and unencumbered Nurse Practitioner license in state of employment.
• Board Certification in Hospice and Palliative Care preferred.
• Hospice/long-term care experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide palliative/hospice assessments and symptom management.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and IDT to coordinate care.
• Educate patients and families about disease and treatment options.
• Document visits and maintain accurate patient records.
• Support continuity of care across home-based services.
• Prescribe medications and order tests within scope.
