Job summary

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in Rockport, Maine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Walk in Care team. This full-time role serves patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.

As part of the Walk-in Care team, you will provide compassionate, evidence-based care, perform procedures such as suturing and wound care, and collaborate with ED and primary care colleagues to ensure timely, quality patient experiences in a community hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program or Certified Physician Assistant program.
• Maine NP or PA License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 2 years’ experience as an NP/PA in ED, Urgent Care or Primary Care preferred.
• Experience with suturing, wound care and splinting preferred.

MaineHealth Pen Bay Hospital in beautiful Rockport, Maine is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Walk in Care team. This position is a full‑time position caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk‑in basis.

The pay range for this position at a 0.9FTE is $108,661 to $140,620 annually, based on the candidate’s level of experience.

Qualifications & Experience

• Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Graduate of an accredited certified Family Nurse Practitioner’s program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program.
• License/Certification:Maine NP or PA License and DEA.

• Prior experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred.
• Experience with suturing, wound care and splinting is preferred, but not required.
