Job summary

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Walk in Care team. This 32-hour a week position cares for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.

The NP will work in a fast-paced environment as part of a patient-centered team, collaborating with other Walk in care members and Primary Care Providers. Maine NP license and DEA are required; ACLS/PALS preferred; 2 years of NP experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university.
• Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program.
• Maine NP License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 2 years' NP experience required.
• Experience in emergency/urgent care or primary care preferred.

Job description

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in beautiful Belfast, Maine is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join its Walk in Care team. This position is a 32-hour a week position caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.

We seek an NP who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment caring for various medical conditions as part of a patient centered team. Providers work collaboratively with our other Walk in care team members and Primary Care Providers. Our facility is currently embedded in our Primary Care office located on the Waldo campus.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:?Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner's program
• License/Certification:?Maine NP License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred.
• 2 years' experience as an NP is required.

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives and other premiums.

The pay range for this position is $96,587 to $124,995 annually based on the candidate's level of experience.
