Job summary

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, Maine is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Walk in Care team. This 32-hour a week position cares for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.

We seek a PA or NP who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment caring for various medical conditions as part of a patient centered team. Providers work collaboratively with our other Walk in care team members and Primary Care Providers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college.
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program.
• Maine NP or PA license and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• 2 years' NP/PA experience required.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Join the Walk in Care team at MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in Belfast, ME.
• Care for patients of all ages with minor medical issues in a fast-paced setting.
• Collaborate with Primary Care Providers and Walk in Care teammates.

MaineHealth Waldo Hospital in beautiful Belfast, Maine is currently seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its Walk in Care team. This position is a 32-hour a week position caring for patients of all ages with minor medical issues and injuries on a walk-in basis.

We seek a PA or NP who is looking to work in a fast-paced environment caring for various medical conditions as part of a patient centered team. Providers work collaboratively with our other Walk in care team members and Primary Care Providers. Our facility is currently embedded in our Primary Care office located on the Waldo campus.

The Position Offers:

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education:Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university. Graduate of an accredited certified Nurse Practitioner’s program or graduate of an accredited Certified Physician Assistant program.
• License/Certification:Maine NP or PA License and DEA.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Experience in emergency medicine, urgent care/walk-in care or primary care is preferred.
• 2 years' experience as an NP/PA is required.

Total compensation packages may include, based on eligibility, recruitment payments, relocation assistance, shift differentials, productivity-based incentives, quality incentives and other premiums.

The pay range for this position is $96,587 - $124,995annually based on the candidate’s level of experience.
