Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP or PA.
• Board certification or eligibility; PA: NCCPA; NP: ANCC or AANP (FNP).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Active BLS certification.
• DOT certification or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.

Location: West Valley - Phoenix
Status: Full‑Time
Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in West Valley. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZlicense for NP | PA
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable

• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
