Job summary

NextCare in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Full‑Time clinician for our fast‑paced urgent care network. The role offers three 12‑hour shifts per week, with no after‑hours tasks and a strong focus on work‑life balance.

You’ll diagnose and treat patients of all ages, perform urgent care procedures, and collaborate with experienced clinical teams while following NextCare guidelines and maintaining high‑quality care across a broad patient population.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP/PA.
• Board certification or eligibility: PA NCCPA; NP ANCC or AANP (FNP).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document care accurately in the EHR and code/bill services.
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare standards and values.

Location: Laveen, AZ Status: Full‑Time Schedule: Three 12‑hour shifts per week; standard clinic hours are 8:00 AM -- 8:00 PM, seven days a week Compensation: $60--$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus Benefits: Full-benefits package available

We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP | PA
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable

• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
