Job summary

NextCare in Glendale, AZ is seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our float urgent care team. The schedule consists of three 12‑hour shifts per week, with standard clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, in a fast‑paced, well‑supported environment.

Clinicians will evaluate and treat patients of all ages, perform urgent care procedures, interpret diagnostic studies, and document care in the EHR.

Qualifications

• Unrestricted AZ license for NP | PA.
• Board certification or eligibility for NP/PA (FNP preferred).
• Active DEA license or ability to obtain.

Compensation: $60–$80/hour (based on experience) + bonus

Position Summary

We are seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our float team in Glendale, AZ. This role is ideal for clinicians who value variety, autonomy, and meaningful community impact while practicing in a fast‑paced, well‑supported urgent care environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management (as applicable)
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR
• Code and bill services appropriately
• Maintain productivity consistent with urgent care benchmarks
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values

Required Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP | PA
• Board certification or eligibility, as applicable
  • PA: NCCPA certification
  • NP: ANCC or AANP certification (FNP required)
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to treat patients of all ages
• Active BLS certification
• EHR proficiency
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain (fees covered)

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
