Job summary

NextCare is seeking a Full‑Time clinician to join our urgent care team in Phoenix, AZ. The role offers three 12-hour shifts per week, with clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, seven days a week, and a compensation range of $60–$80/hour plus bonus.

Qualifications

• Active, unrestricted AZ license for NP or PA.
• Board certification or eligibility: PA NCCPA; NP ANCC or AANP (FNP required).
• Active DEA license (or ability to obtain).
• Ability to treat patients of all ages.
• Active BLS certification.
• EHR proficiency.
• Willingness to work occasional weekends and holidays.
• DOT certification required or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients of all ages in an urgent care setting.
• Manage acute illnesses, injuries, and occupational health visits.
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including labs and imaging.
• Perform urgent care procedures such as suturing and wound management.
• Clearly communicate diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge instructions.
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently in the EHR.
• Code and bill services appropriately; maintain productivity with urgent care benchmarks.
• Practice in alignment with NextCare clinical standards and values.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior urgent care, emergency medicine, or fast‑track experience
• Strong procedural skills (e.g., suturing, splinting, wound care)
• Experience with initial x‑ray interpretation prior to radiology over‑read
