Job summary

IU Health Medical Group is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Urgent Care team serving Bloomington and Greenwood, IN. This is a full-time position offering 36 hours over three 12-hour shifts with hours 8am–8pm and Saturday/Sunday 8am–6pm, no on-call requirement.

Responsibilities include urgent care services such as injury and illness care, laceration repair, I&D, and EKGs for patients 3 months and older. DOT certification must be obtained within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• FNP or PA certification required.
• At least 6 months of urgent care, family medicine, or emergency medicine as an APP required.
• Must obtain DOT certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care services including injury and illness care, laceration repair, I&D, EKGs.
• Coordinate care for patients ages 3 months and up.
• Collaborate with a two-site Urgent Care team in Bloomington and Greenwood.
