Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced PRN Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Winston-Salem, NC region team. This is a PRN (per diem) opportunity with no full-time or part-time openings currently available.

Our centers offer advanced technology, EPIC EMR, on-site X-ray, and a collaborative clinical team including Rad Techs and Medical Assistants. Shift differentials apply after 8pm at extended-hour centers.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting.
• Board certification in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.
• Comfort with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care with a wide variety of clinical concerns and engage in shared decision making.
• Collaborate with on-site Rad Tech and Medical Assistants as a clinical team leader.
• Utilize EPIC EMR and on-site X-ray/POC testing to maximize efficiency and patient care.

We are seeking experienced PRN Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our Novant Health-GoHealth Urgent Care team in the Winston-Salem, NC region. At this time, we do not have any full-time or part‑time opportunities available. We are currently recruiting for PRN positions only.

Minimum Qualifications

• One (1) year of fulltime experience in an Urgent Care or Emergency Medicine setting required.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X-rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages 6 months and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physicians need to be board certified in Family Medicine, Emergency Medicine or Med-Peds.
