Sutter North Medical Group is seeking a Board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Women’s Health team in Yuba City, CA. The outpatient gynecology focus includes preventive care and well-woman exams within a collaborative practice.

The position offers a predictable schedule with no weekends and no night call, backed by an established team of 8 providers and strong mentorship. Open to experienced and new graduates alike.

Formación

• Board-certified or board-eligible nurse practitioner or physician assistant.

Responsabilidades

• Perform annual well-woman examinations and preventive care.
• Provide general gynecologic health maintenance.
• Evaluate and manage abnormal Pap smear results.
• Assess and treat abnormal uterine bleeding.
• Counsel and manage contraception; place IUD/Nexplanon.
• Evaluate pelvic organ prolapse; provide management.
• Educate patients on women’s health care; promote wellness.
• Potential opportunities for prenatal visits or surgical first assisting (not required).

This is an outstanding opportunity for a clinician who enjoys building relationships with patients and providing comprehensive gynecologic care in a collaborative, supportive practice. The position is primarily focused on outpatient gynecology, offering a predictable schedule with no weekends and no call responsibilities.

Clinical Scope

The clinician will provide a broad range of gynecologic services, including:

• Annual well-woman examinations and preventive care
• General gynecologic health maintenance
• Evaluation and management of abnormal Pap smear results
• Assessment and treatment of abnormal uterine bleeding
• Contraceptive counseling and management
• IUD and Nexplanon placement and management
• Evaluation and management of pelvic organ prolapse
• Patient education and ongoing women's health care

Providers interested in expanding their scope may have opportunities to gradually incorporate additional skills, such as prenatal visits and surgical first assisting, though these are not required components of the role.
