Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our critical care team. You will practice state-of-the-art medicine in a collaborative setting with physicians and nurses.

Position highlights include 12-hour shifts, 14 shifts per month, nocturnal stipend, and a focus on comprehensive care, procedures, patient advocacy, and research participation. Relocation assistance and plentiful benefits support employees.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for PA or NP role.
• Active BLS certification and PA/NP credentials.
• Pennsylvania licensure eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced assessment, planning, education, treatment and follow-up.
• Work with critical care physicians in a team-based model.
• Perform procedures such as central lines and arterial access.
• Serve as patient advocate and liaison for families.
• Contribute to patient-centered research and improvement initiatives.
• Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income.

Geisinger Wyoming Valley Medical Center is actively seeking a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner to join our dynamic critical care team. This is an exciting opportunity to practice advanced, state-of-the -art medicine in a collaborative environment supported by experienced physicians and a dedicated nursing staff.

Job Duties:

Position Highlights:

• 14 shifts/month with a mix of day and night (nocturnal stipend offered)
• 12-hour shifts (7 am-7 pm or 7 pm-7 am)
• Work alongside critical care physicians in a collaborative, team-based model
• Provide comprehensive care: assessment, planning, education, treatment, and follow-up
• Learn and perform procedures: Central Lines, Temporary dialysis catheters, Arterial lines with the opportunity to learn others
• Serve as a patient advocate , liaison, and trusted advisor for patients and families
• Opportunity to participate in patient-centered research and a variety of improvement initiatives
• Moonlighting opportunities available for additional income
