Job summary

One Medical is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our primary care team in West Hartford, CT. You will manage a patient panel, provide acute, chronic, and well visits, and deliver in-office as well as testing-center care.

You'll participate in weekly Clinical Rounds, collaborate with in-office and virtual teams, and have opportunities to perform procedures while pursuing any needed state licensure for virtual care in additional states.

Qualifications

• Accredited NP or PA program with national certification.
• 2 years in outpatient primary care OR 1 year with fellow/urgent care experience.
• CT state license by start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with acute, chronic, and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, in testing centers, or via tele-health.
• Attend weekly Clinical Rounds and collaborate with in-office and virtual teams.
• Utilize clinical training and perform in-office procedures when appropriate.
• Pursue additional state licensure/credentialing for virtual primary care in other states.

Employment Type

Full time, 32 hours per week. Working out of a co-location with our Health System Partner in Hartford Health.

What You’ll Be Working On

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Willing to obtain additional state licensure and credentialing for One Medical virtual primary care in additional states

Education, Licenses, And Experiences Required For This Role

• Completed an accredited NP or PA program with a national certification
• In the past 5 years, practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least:
• 2 years in an outpatient primary care setting, OR 1 year in an outpatient primary care setting, coupled with either a 1 year primary care fellowship or 1+ year in an urgent care setting
• State licensed in CT, obtained by your One Medical start date

Location

This is a full-time role based in West Hartford, CT.

Compensation

Base salary range $144,900 to $173,300 based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on practice experience and patient care schedule.
