Job summary

One Medical in Glastonbury, CT, is seeking a full-time physician to manage diverse patient panels and provide care across in-office, testing center and tele-health settings.

The role requires completion of Internal/Family Medicine residency, CT license, and board certification or eligibility with plans to certify within one year. You will work with both in-person and virtual teams and may supervise NP/PA colleagues.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in or completed Internal/Family Medicine residency.
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in outpatient primary care.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible with plans to certify within 1 year of start date.
• CT state medical license obtained before start date.

Responsibilities

• Manage a patient panel with broad needs including acute, chronic and well visits.
• Treat patients in-office, at testing centers or via tele-health visits.
• Participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and other learning modalities.
• Collaborate with in-office and virtual clinical teams daily.
• Utilize clinical training and perform in-office procedures as appropriate.
• Supervise one or more NP or PA colleagues.

Employment type

• Full time, 32 hours per week
• Working out of a co-location with our Health System Partner, Hartford Health

What you'll be working on

• Managing a patient panel with a broad array of patient needs; conducting a mix of acute, chronic, and well visits
• Treating patients in-office or in testing centers as well as conducting occasional tele-health visits
• Continuous learning during weekly Clinical Rounds and through other modalities
• Ongoing collaboration with in-office teammates via daily huddles, as well as with virtual clinical teams
• Utilization of your specific clinical training and opportunities to perform in-office procedures
• Supervising one or more NP or PA colleagues

Education, licenses, and experiences required for this role

• Enrolled in, or have completed, an accredited Internal or Family Medicine residency program
• Practiced at least 2 of the last 5 years in an outpatient primary care setting
• Board Certified in Internal or Family Medicine, or Board Eligible with plans to obtain board certification within 1 year of your One Medical start date
• State licensed in CT, obtained before your One Medical start date

This is a full-time role based in Glastonbury, CT.

The base salary range for this role is $273,500 to $290,700 per year based on a full-time schedule. Final determination of starting pay may vary based on factors such as practice experience and patient care schedule. Additional pay may be determined for those candidates that exceed these specified qualifications and requirements. The total compensation package for this position may also include annual performance bonus, benefits and/or other applicable incentive compensation plans.
