Job summary

GoHealth Urgent Care seeks experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join our per diem team across the greater Pittsburgh area and PA/WV locations. We partner with UPMC Health System to deliver convenient, high‑quality urgent care.

You will work in fast-paced centers with EPIC EMR, support from on‑site staff, and flexible scheduling Monday through Friday with some weekend shifts. Candidates must have Master’s degree and relevant certification (NCCPA for PAs; ANCC/AANP for NPs)

Qualifications

• 1 year of full‑time Emergency Medicine experience or 2 years Urgent Care/Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (suturing, casting) and preliminary reads on EKGs and X‑rays.
• Experience treating patients from newborn to adult in acute care settings.
• PA: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification required.
• NP: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care in a high‑volume setting across GoHealth Urgent Care centers.
• Perform minor procedures and interpret EKGs and X‑rays.
• Collaborate with clinical team leaders and on‑site Rad Techs and Medical Assistants.

Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Per Diem

We are seeking experienced Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners to join UPMC‑GoHealth Urgent Care in the greater Pittsburgh area, and locations across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Minimum Qualifications

• 1 year of full‑time experience in Emergency Medicine or 2 years of Urgent Care setting experience required. Will consider 2 years of Family Medicine experience.
• Comfortable with minor procedures (sutures, casts, splints, etc.), and preliminary reads on EKGs and X‑rays required.
• Experience treating patients ages newborn and up in an acute care setting required.
• Physician Assistants: Master’s degree and NCCPA Certification is required.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master’s degree and ANCC or AANP Certification is required.
