Job summary

CoreLife Healthcare is seeking a Board-Certified Nurse Practitioner to deliver obesity medicine within a collaborative care model at our White Marsh, MD clinic. This full-time role features a 4-day work week (10-hour shifts) and a leadership role in a multidisciplinary team focused on lifestyle intervention and preventive care.

The NP will diagnose and manage chronic conditions, develop personalized treatment plans, and educate patients on behavior change while ensuring compliant documentation

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner (NP) license - Maryland.
• Board Certified (FNP, AGNP, or related).
• DEA license (or eligibility).
• Experience in Primary Care, Obesity Medicine, Endocrinology or Chronic Disease Management (preferred).
• Strong interest in lifestyle medicine and multidisciplinary care.
• Excellent communication and patient engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage obesity and related chronic conditions.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Lead and collaborate with a care team (RD, trainer, behavioral health).
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment progress.
• Educate patients on lifestyle, nutrition, and behavior change.
• Ensure documentation meets clinical and coding standards.
• Support patient engagement, retention, and outcomes.
• Meet productivity and quality benchmarks aligned with CoreLife & MedStar standards.
