Job summary

Turning Point Care Center, LLC seeks a PRN Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to perform comprehensive mental health assessments, diagnose plans, and prescribe treatments in collaboration with a physician. The role emphasizes patient-centered care within a continuum of inpatient and outpatient programs in Georgia.

Applicants should have an MSN with PMHNP or PMHCNS, GA APRN licensure, and 5 years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience, with DSM-5 expertise to guide

Qualifications

• Licensed APRN in Georgia; national board certification
• Five years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment

Nurse Practitioner (NP) - PRN

Turning Point is seeking a PRN Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner works closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, determine diagnosis plans, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health care regimens in collaboration with the designated physician.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have:

• Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) with one of the accredited National Certification Organizations (ANCC, AANP)
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; Certification with a National Certification Board
• Five (5) years of experience in the area of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment
