Job summary

Universal Health Services, Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner (PRN) with Psychiatric certification to join Turning Point Care Center, LLC in Moultrie, GA.

The NP will work with Medical Director and clinical teams to provide comprehensive psychiatric assessments, diagnose plans, prescribe treatments, and manage care in collaboration with a designated physician. Qualified applicants hold a MS in Nursing with PMHNP/PMHCNS, GA APRN license, and at least five years in psychiatric/chemical dependency

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing with PMHNP or PMHCNS certification.
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in Georgia.
• Five years of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing experience.
• Knowledge of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive mental health assessments and determine diagnosis plans.
• Prescribe treatments and manage mental health regimens with physicians.
• Collaborate with Medical, Clinical, and Nursing staff to coordinate care.

Turning Point is seeking a PRN Psych Certified Nurse Practitioner. The Nurse Practitioner works closely with the Medical Director, Clinical Staff, and Nursing Staff to provide comprehensive mental health assessments, determine diagnosis plans, prescribe treatments, and manage mental health care regimens in collaboration with the designated physician.

Qualifications

Qualified applicants will have:

• Master of Science in Nursing with certification as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist (PMHCNS) with one of the accredited National Certification Organizations (ANCC, AANP)
• Licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in the State of Georgia; Certification with a National Certification Board
• Five (5) years of experience in the area of psychiatric/chemical dependency nursing
• Knowledge and mastery of DSM-5 and biopsychosocial assessment
