Matrix Providers Inc. is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) to perform one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Palmdale, CA.

This is a full-time role (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm) with an hourly wage of $60.07–$63.23 and a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, and life coverage. On-site staff must be fully vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines. Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• NCCPA certification for PAs required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and provide one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams for veterans.
• Capture responses during exams via web-based forms; documentation completed electronically.
• Completed exams sent to VA for disability determinations.
• Standard exams include musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be ordered and conducted on location or nearby.

Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) / Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Palmdale, CA

• Employment Status: Full Time
• Compensation: This is an hourly position, paid bi-weekly $60.07- $63.23/hr.
• Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-5:00pm.

This role supports patient care during sensitive procedures where patients may request a same-gender staff member. The facility seeks to ensure appropriate gender representation among staff to accommodate patient choice.

Requirements and Skillsets: The Nurse Practitioner NP / Physician Assistant PA must have and meet the following qualifications:

• Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license for the duration of your employment.
• Physician Assistants must hold an active NCCPA certification and remain certified during the duration of their employment.
• Have a master’s degree or successfully completed an approved Physician Assistant Program.
• Certification: Have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines.
• Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required.

Job Summary:
