Job summary

Homedica is seeking a PRN Nurse Practitioner in Mobile, AL to deliver high-quality primary care in home, facility, and telehealth settings. You will conduct exams, manage chronic and acute conditions, and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care for patients across the Gulf South.

The role emphasizes independent practice, strong communication, and flexibility for after-hours coverage.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in Alabama.
• DEA license required.
• Experience in home health, hospice, or facility-based care required.
• Strong communication, decision-making, and clinical skills.
• Comfortable working independently across diverse care environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary medical care services in home, facility, and telehealth settings.
• Conduct physical exams, wellness visits, and manage chronic and acute conditions.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
• Prescribe and manage medications and individualized care plans.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and community partners.
• Promote preventive care, patient education, and continuity of care.
• Participate in after-hours or on-call rotation as needed.
