Job summary

Matrix Providers is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to perform one-time non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Fresno, CA. This part-time, two 10-hour day schedule is paid hourly. The role requires an active NP license, BLS, and the ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and provide one-time non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams.
• Capture responses during the exam via web-based examination forms.
• Complete documentation electronically and submit exams to VA for disability determinations.
• Note that standard exams may include musculoskeletal, cardio and respiratory areas; ancillary tests may be ordered.

Requirements and Skillsets

• Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license for the duration of your employment
• Certification
• Have an active Basic Life Support BLS certification
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations
• Must possess basic computer skills
• All on site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines
• Prior VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required

Job Summary
