Job summary

Matrix Providers Inc. seeks a Nurse Practitioner to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exams in Pearl City, HI. This full-time role supports a Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm schedule and on-site work.

Candidates must hold an active NP license and BLS, with strong teamwork and computer skills; vaccination per CDC/state guidelines is required. Prior VA exam experience is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (unrestricted) required.
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and flexibility.
• Basic computer skills.
• All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC/state guidelines.
• VA or compensation exam experience is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Review medical history and perform one-time, non-treatment Veterans Disability Exams.
• Capture responses during exams using web-based forms; documents sent to VA.
• Conduct standard exams including musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Arrange ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) on location or nearby.

Matrix Providers is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our team of talented medical professionals to conduct one-time, non-treatment Veteran Disability Exam in Pearl City, HI

• Employment Status: Full Time
• Compensation: $60.07- $63.23
• Schedule: Full Time, Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.

Requirements and Skillsets:

The Nurse Practitioner NP must have and meet the following qualifications:

• Hold and maintain an active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license for the duration of your employment.
• Certification: Have an active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good interpersonal skills and a willingness to be flexible and adapt to changing situations.
• Must possess basic computer skills.
• All on-site staff and contractors must be fully vaccinated per CDC and state guidelines.

Job Summary:

• Review pertinent medical history documentation and provide veterans with one-time, non-treatment compensation and pension exams.
• The Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant will capture responses during the exam through web-based examination form(s); all documentation will be completed electronically. Completed exams are sent to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs for disability award determinations.
• Standard exams include - musculoskeletal, cardio, and respiratory.
• Ancillaries (X-rays, labs, EKGs, PFTs, ABIs) may be ordered and will be conducted on location or nearby.
