Job summary

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking Nurse Practitioners to provide medical care across ages, in collaboration with physicians and a multidisciplinary team.

The role includes conducting exams, ordering labs, and prescribing treatments; work settings include healthcare facilities with contract, part-time, travel, and full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required.
• RN license in the state of practice required.
• Specialty Certification as per client request and/or state regulations if applicable.
• One (1) year experience as an NP preferred.
• Maintain collaboration agreements, per state requirements.
• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice.
• Current CPR if applicable.
• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation).
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical care and treatment to patients under licensed scope.
• Collaborate with physician and multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data.
• Order and schedule laboratory and diagnostic studies; perform examinations and screenings.
• Prescribe medications and treatments; provide evidence-based care.
• Potentially specialize in a designated clinical area as required by client.

Job description

The Nurse Practitioner provides medical care services and treatment to patients of all ages within scope of license, in collaboration with a physician as required by law. The Nurse Practitioner collaborates with the multidisciplinary team to collect and document patient data, performs physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic tests and procedures, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications and treatments, orders and schedules laboratory and diagnostic studies to provide evidence based care and comprehensive services including direct patient care. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice.

• Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice required
• RN license in the state of practice required
