First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC), operated by Samaritan Daytop Village in Rockland County, is a 24/7 program dually licensed by OMH and OASAS to provide rapid, short-term support for children ages 5+ and adults in mental health or substance use crisis. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a trauma‑informed, harm‑reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with long‑term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to function as an advanced practice provider delivering medical evaluation, physical health stabilization, and integrated primary care to individuals in a behavioral health setting. Practicing within the full scope of New York State licensure, the NP ensures that clients experiencing acute mental health or substance use emergencies are medically cleared and treated for underlying health conditions. This role is a vital part of a 24/7 multidisciplinary team, bridging the gap between physical health and behavioral health crisis intervention.
This is a full‑time exempt role with an annual salary of $140,000‑$169,744 with a full benefits package. Benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, 25 days of paid time off, access to a retirement account with an employer to match, and tuition reimbursement.
This role is located in Blauvelt, NY and has a schedule of Wednesday‑Friday 12pm‑12am.
