First Steps Intensive Crisis Stabilization Center (ICSC), operated by Samaritan Daytop Village in Rockland County, is a 24/7 program dually licensed by OMH and OASAS to provide rapid, short‑term support for children ages 5+ and adults in mental health or substance use crisis. Our multidisciplinary team utilizes a trauma‑informed, harm‑reduction framework to stabilize individuals and connect them with long‑term care while avoiding unnecessary emergency room visits.
We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide essential clinical support and compassionate patient care. Working under the direction of Registered Nurses, Nurse Practitioners and Physicians, you will play a key role in medical stabilization, vital sign monitoring, and the daily health management of individuals experiencing acute mental health or substance use emergencies. This role requires a dedicated professional who can balance technical nursing duties such as wound care, medication coordination, and EHR documentation. As a vital member of our 24/7 multidisciplinary team, you will ensure a safe, organized, and respectful environment for clients navigating the road to recovery.
This is a full‑time non‑exempt role with an hourly rate of $27.47‑$32.06 (annualized at 35 hours a week to $50,000‑$58,350) with a full benefits package.
