Job summary

Qualifications
- Master's degree or higher in Nursing from accredited program.
- Current active RN license.
- Current NP certification from national certifying body.
- Valid prescriptive authority license/DEA number.
- Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
- Diagnose acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with medical protocol.
- Prescribe medications and medical treatments as authorized.
- Perform procedures within scope of NP licensure.
- Maintain comprehensive patient medical records.
- Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care.
- Provide patient education and health promotion.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
- Refer patients to specialists as needed.
- Support referral source relationship building.
- Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
- Maintain current clinical knowledge and certification.
