Job summary

Hope Neurological Medical Services and its affiliates is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (NP or PA) to join a multidisciplinary team. You will deliver comprehensive patient care, assess and manage diverse neurological conditions, and work with a broad patient population across pediatrics to geriatrics.

The role involves collaboration with physicians under supervision, use of EHR systems, and participation in quality improvement and care coordination to support excellent patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Master's degree from accredited Physician Assistant program required.
  • Physician Assistant Certification from PANCE required.
  • Valid state PA license required and current DEA registration.
  • Minimum 1–2 years clinical PA experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments including vitals, exams, and history reviews.
  • Prescribe medications and treatments per practice agreements and guidelines.
  • Perform procedures such as suturing, IV insertions, and catheterizations as appropriate.
  • Document in EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, eClinicalWorks) accurately and securely.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other clinicians to coordinate care.
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across neurology-focused services.

POSITION SUMMARY

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider - either a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) - to join our multidisciplinary healthcare team. In this vital role, you will deliver comprehensive patient care across diverse clinical settings, utilizing your expertise to assess, diagnose, and manage a wide range of medical conditions. Your proactive approach and collaborative spirit will ensure exceptional patient outcomes while supporting the overall mission of providing high-quality, compassionate healthcare. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work with a broad patient population, including pediatrics, geriatrics, and complex cases, in a fast-paced environment that values innovation and excellence.

A service agreement will accompany the provider's offer and job description, which will provide more focused company and duty specifics, understanding, and agreement prior to hire.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history reviews
  • Prescribe medications and treatment plans in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and regulatory guidelines
  • Perform medical procedures such as suturing, IV insertions, catheterizations, and sterile processing when appropriate
  • Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems like Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks for accurate documentation and medical records management
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, specialists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care
  • Manage acute and chronic conditions across various specialties including emergency medicine, critical care, geriatrics, behavioral health, and more
  • Engage in telehealth consultations to extend access to care and improve patient outcomes in remote or underserved areas
  • Support marketing and referral relationship building
  • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Education & Licensure

  • Master's degree from accredited Physician Assistant program required
  • Physician Assistant Certification from PANCE required
  • Valid state PA license required
  • Current DEA registration required
  • Minimum board certified
  • 1-2 years of clinical PA experience preferred but not required
