Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Nursing from accredited program.
• Current active RN license.
• Current NP certification from national certifying body.
• Valid prescriptive authority license/DEA number.
• Minimum 3-5 years of clinical nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and evaluations.
• Diagnose acute and chronic conditions within scope of practice.
• Develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with medical protocol.
• Prescribe medications and medical treatments as authorized.
• Perform procedures within scope of NP licensure.
• Maintain comprehensive patient medical records.
• Communicate effectively with patients and families regarding care.
• Provide patient education and health promotion.
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members.
• Refer patients to specialists as needed.
• Support referral source relationship building.
• Participate in quality assurance initiatives.
• Maintain current clinical knowledge and certification.
