Job summary

Lifekind Health is looking for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to join our team full-time in our Tucson clinic. Provide comprehensive, patient-centered care in a transdisciplinary team, contributing to the health and well-being of patients by delivering innovative and personalized medical solutions within the UTC program.

Schedule: 4/10's, 7:00 am - 5:00 pm, Clinics are open Monday - Friday (Fridays required)

Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Arizona.
• Current Board Certification required.
• Current DEA registration or eligibility/ability to obtain DEA registration.
• At least 1 year of relevant NP/PA experience preferred.
• Experience in pain management or interest in developing expertise is preferred.
• Comfort in managing chronic pain using a multimodal, evidence-based approach.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and manage chronic pain conditions as part of comprehensive care plans.
• Collaborate with pain management specialists and other providers to develop multimodal pain treatment strategies.
• Perform interventional pain procedures as trained and credentialed.
• Educate patients on safe pain management practices including opioid stewardship and self-management techniques.
• Monitor treatment efficacy and adjust care plans to optimize function and health outcomes.
• Deliver care in a holistic, interdisciplinary UTC model.
• Develop and adjust comprehensive care plans with measurable outcomes.
• Assess and document patient health through interviews, exams, and histories.
• Diagnose health conditions and interpret labs following protocols.
• Document encounters within 72 hours.
