Job summary

DOCS Health is seeking Nurse Practitioners to partner as independent contractors delivering health services to military service members. The role emphasizes weekend work with occasional weekdays in Colorado under the Reserve Health Readiness Program, serving USAR, ARNG, USNR, MARFORRES, USCGR, ANG, and USAFR.

Responsibilities include health assessments, reviewing medical histories and records, interviewing personnel, and documenting results in our proprietary system.

Qualifications

Active NP license in the state and CPR/BLS certification.
Experience in primary care, urgent care, or occupational health.
Willingness to travel and work weekends/remote military installations.
Ability to document interview results in the proprietary system.

Responsibilities

Support Physical Health Assessments of military personnel.
Review health history, service member medical records, and medical questionnaires.
Interview military personnel to determine current and prior medical concerns.
Identify any concerns that need to be addressed immediately, inclusive of Behavioral Health.
Document interview results for readiness classification in the service member’s medical record using the proprietary system.
